Q: What is Living Cube Furniture?
A: LIVING CUBE is modular, multi-functional furniture for minimalist living. Built in Switzerland and soon, Mexico, we help people maximize their space, large or small, by providing 8-10 different pieces of furniture in one very small footprint. We help people have more with less.
Q: What are ELEMENTS?
A: ELEMENTS are the building blocks of Living Cube. We currently offer 12 ELEMENTS (more on the way) within our Living Cube and Living Wall systems (not including upgrades like USB charging ports, bed rail and memory foam mattress). Current models show are just a suggestion for how to configure your unit. You're welcome to mix and match ELEMENTS to create a solution that's perfect for you!
Q: How many ELEMENTS do you currently offer?
12; Large & Small Bookshelf, Large & Small Wardrobe, Entertainment Unit, Large & Small Desk, Minibar, Set of Drawers, Bike & Skateboard Racks, Sliding Door and a set of stairs is in the works.
Q: Can ELEMENTS be configured in any order?
Pretty much, yes. ELEMENTS can be configured on 2, 3 or 4 sides of Living Cube or in any particular order on a Living Wall. This is great because it helps you maximize smaller spaces or efficiently divide larger ones - the option is yours. The dimensions for each ELEMENT are fixed but you can arrange them in whatever order suits your space best.
Q: Speaking of, what are ELEMENT's, MINI's and URBAN's DIMENSIONS?
- Large Elements: 79" Tall x 49" Wide x 14" Deep / 2000mm Tall x 1236mm Wide x 352mm Deep
- Small Elements: 79" Tall x 24" Wide x 14" Deep / 2000mm Tall x 607mm Wide x 352mm Deep

Q: What if I need CUSTOM sizes (or colors, materials or design)?
A: We offer custom dimensions, colors, materials and designs for $1500 US / €1090 Europe + product cost and S&H. We'll work with you to create a personalized look and feel that you'll love for years to come.
Q: What are some of the ways you can CUSTOMIZE the New Room?
A: Really, the sky's the limit here! But so far customers have asked about creating a custom office, closet, bathroom, wine cellar, kid's play space, meditation room, DJ booth, darkroom, and gear room. What would you do? Let us know HERE!
Q: What is the difference between a LIVING WALL and a LIVING CUBE?
A: Both Living Walls and Living Cubes are built using our LIVING ELEMENTS SYSTEM. ELEMENTS can be configured into either configuration depending on the needs of your space. A Living Wall is just that - a series of ELEMENTS joined together along a wall. If you need additional storage or a lofted bed space, we can ADD ELEMENTS to grow your Living Wall into a Living Cube.
Q: How long does it take to build and ship?
A: It takes roughly 30 days to construct and ship once you place an order.
Q: How much is assembly? Can I assemble myself?
A: Assembly in the States is $500, in Europe €375. All Living Cube products are designed for simple self assembly (no special tools required), however we're here to help if you'd rather not do any of the heavy lifting. A MINI Cube, for example, takes roughly 4-5 hours and 2-3 people to assemble. We also send you an assembly manual and a DIY video at the time of shipment.
Q: What is required to place an order? Do you offer financing?
A: A 50% deposit is required to get started and then the balance is due at the time of shipment. We accept all major credit cards and PayPal. For customers who qualify, we offer 6 month interest free financing through PayPal's Bill Me Later program.
Q: Where do you ship?
A: We ship worldwide.
Q: How much does shipping cost?
A: Shipping is calculated based on location and how quickly you need your furniture. If you are overseas, freight shipping can take up to 30 days and costs about half as much as shipping by air (which takes around a week). Overseas shipping can range from $500 - $1500 (depending on the carrier used and the weight of your products - they're HEAVY!); domestic shipping within the continental US runs approximately $500-$750; and in Europe it generally ranges from €500-€750.
Q: Do you WARRANTY your products?
A: We do! We offer a 5 year Limited Warranty on materials and workmanship; hardware is covered by the manufacturers directly. You can check out our full warranty coverage HERE.
Q: What colors are available?
A: We currently offer Black, Natural and a White Wash. If you'd like a custom finish, we'd be happy to work with you to find one. That would just fall under the CUSTOM Pricing model.
Q: What size bed fits on a Living Cube?
A: Living Cube fits up to a US Queen or a European Standard size mattress. A US Queen is 60 in × 80 in (152 cm × 203 cm) and a European Standard is 160 cm × 200 cm (63 in × 79 in). The framing riser around the mattress is 250mm or 9.8”. So if your mattress is thicker than this, it will stick out over the top.
Q: What upgrades are available?
A: We currently offer upgraded USB Charging Ports, Memory Foam Mattress, a Bed Rail, Interior LED lights and CUSTOM Builds. Please let us know if you'd like to see any other upgraded features on Living Cube Products HERE (we're open to all your great ideas).
